Privacy policy

Last updated: September 12, 2026. This policy explains the information processed when you visit Hack Your World.

Calculator inputs

Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. Hack Your World does not upload or store those values. If you use a share link, its URL fragment contains the values; anyone you give the complete link to can read them.

Server logs

My hosting provider records ordinary access-log data, which may include IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser user agent, response status, and referring page. I use aggregate summaries for security, troubleshooting, and understanding site usage. Logs may include automated requests and are not treated as verified counts of people.

Advertising

I use Google AdSense to fund the site. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, IP addresses, and similar technologies to deliver, personalize, limit, and measure ads. Depending on your location and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. You can review or change ad personalization in Google’s My Ad Center.

For details about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see Google’s explanation for partner sites.

Cookies and consent

Advertising technology may store or access cookies and similar identifiers. Where required, a consent message will ask for your choices before personalized advertising technologies are used. Browser controls can also block or delete cookies, although that may affect site functionality.

External links

Links to other websites are governed by those sites’ privacy practices. Commercial or affiliate relationships, when present, are disclosed near the relevant recommendation.

Contact and changes

Questions or correction requests can be sent to ttpears@gmail.com. I may update this policy when site features or service providers change; the date above records the latest revision.
